Marine Generator of 10 KVA (8 KW) compromising Simpson S217 Continuous Duty Two Cylinder Sea Water Cooled close coupled with IEC Marine Class Alternator with suitable De ration with Epoxy Coating for Winding Space heater is to evaporate condensed water on windings of Generators. Set complete with Engine Panel, Control Panel board.
Safety: Engine will have Safety Shutdown Devices for High Water temperature, Low Lube Oil Pressure and Over Speed, Low Battery.
Approvals: Engines are Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) Type Approved for Auxiliary. This is required criteria for Marine Gensets to be IRS Certified.
Electrical Panels are CPRI (Central Power Research of India) Approved.
Heat Exchanger Cooling System: The Marine Engine cooling system consists of two different circuits. The main circuit is the fresh water which is filled into the heat exchanger tank, and circulates through the head and block passages, taking away the heat from the engine assembly. The second circuit consists of Cuprous nickel pipes through which sea water is pumped through, and after passing through the pipes which are in contact with the water in the main circuit, the sea water passes through the outer cover of the Exhaust manifold and returns back into the sea, in the process taking away the heat from the main circulating water and also cooling the external temperature of the exhaust manifold.
